700 pages of marriage records are included in a single searchable digital file that is bookmarked by the name of the source and date range of records contained within each section. (e.g. Perth Presbyterian Church 1817-1857). Being able to search through all 41 sets of records with a single search is especially helpful when you are not sure of where, when, or in which church that a marriage was solemnized.
Using the Collection:
The collection is organized in a continuous run of pages beginning with a "title page" that lists the name of the church/source from which the records were extracted. The marriage extracts for that church follow its title page. The next church's title page appears after the final page of marriages from the previous church's records, followed by that church's marriages, and so on. Convenient hot-linked bookmarks are listed on the left hand side of the page should you choose to browse the records of a specific church/es.
Searchable by entering a surname, given name, or word/s in the search box at the top of the screen. When you find a record that is of interest, scroll up the page to locate the name/title page of the church or source from which the record was transcribed.
This collection includes all of Mr. Andersen's typewritten pages that make up this collection. We scanned his manually typed pages as originally prepared. We have not altered or edited the work. The original documents were intended for Anderson's personal use so several pages include hand written corrections and changes by Mr. Andersen. We've left those pages as we found them.
